Pretty much what I'm expecting. That Zim won't come out of this looking good. Spielman will take the fall as the guy who stood by and did nothing to stop it and I won't be surprised if there's some Wilf issues too.

I don't doubt that it may be true but don't turn blue waiting. If assistant coaches talk to the media, they just cut their chances of ever getting hired in the NFL again. GMs and coaches around the league may not like Zimmer, but most have big egos and throw their attitudes around a lot, and don't want to employ assistants who might complain to the press. Players have a little more independence, but even so, I am surprised Kendricks and O'Neill complained openly.

Zimmer has done ok against weak divisional opponents. The trouble is, the Vikings didn't have to face weak divisional opponents in the playoffs, and Zimmer has not been able to consistently beat teams with winning records. Being the worst of the best wasn't good enough, and two seasons of being the best of the worst got Zimmer fired.

My older brother turned me on to some great music, was a sought-after singer in his day. I am into drummers. Best drummers gotta start with Franks players! Hot Rats my favorite piece!!!
Young guys out there tearing it up too. snotty isnt a terrible musician hisself but Franks Over-Nite Sensation drummers made me forget Chad Smith et. al.

So, I can expect to be disappointed in the playoffs next season versus the regular season, right? Sounds good to me! But nah, let's just be real, I'll be here defending the new coaching staff in a few years when everyone wants them fired, too. lol.

Is that why most NFL sites, and most here, predicted 7-9 wins? Because our roster was so stacked, but we'd be held back by coaching? Yeah, where is Maury? Because the lie detector test determined ... that is a lie. lol.

Our offense will largely still be intact. The defense was worthless and held back by Zimmer according to most here. Same with Kubiak. Cousins sucks, too. We can only go up from here. We should absolutely be in the playoffs next season if it was coaching. The road blocks are gone. Don't change the tune now. I'm excited!

Busted. Love the forum, been a member of a few in the past, haven't had much nice to say about the team lately so I've been applying Thumper's razor.

I think the team needs a steady direction and a plan, as much as anything. A Ferrari rb that should be used like Kamara, that we slam into the middle of the line like "The Bus" Jerome Bettis. An undersized zone blocking scheme to protect a pocket passing panicky qb that takes up a quarter of our cap. Two massive DT's that can't stop the run. Our our most effective healthy edge rusher is a failed dt. Every time a guy plays well at a position on the offensive line, we move him around til he sucks. A super complex secondary system that can't be understood by young players and can't be played by old. Eight drafts in, we realize size matters on the O line, but we half ass it and draft two guys that play around seven games combined and call that bulking up. A third round QB that appears to be chopped liver drafted to appease the owners. There's no identity or direction, just a mess and excuses.

As far as I can tell, it has to get worse before it can get better, because this team is the island of misfit toys. Whoever comes in will have to rearrange this roster to fit an actual plan. If you don't believe this was a rudderless ship, ask Yannick how he enjoyed his northern vacation.
