Week 17 - Vikes @ Packers (Life)Support Group

Might be because we haven't been in the Super Bowl since the 70s. Maybe consistently make the playoffs before you talk Super Bowl. I'm supposedly a big homer, and I think it's RIDICULOUS to talk Super Bowl as a Vikings fan. Yes, that's the ultimate goal - that goes without saying - but there is a reason we discuss the playoffs. Chiefs, Bucs, Patriots, Packers? Maybe Niners? They can talk Super Bowl. The rest of us? Playoffs, because there's been no consistency. When there is, let's talk about that next step. Can't run before we walk!

You know how I feel about needing coaching change, but when games start I simply cant root for my squad to lose.
I despise quit in a man, so I want my squad to do some damage if they play. 
Leave a hell of a mark going out, then I can deal with a loss better. Then again I am a sick boy who prides himself on enduring the punishment. Guys I train will comply to my way or I want paid to coach them. Besides I take my beatings from them, dont fuss, and if my candyazz can hang my squads better as well. 
I am getting too old and the guys getting too good, soon time to tone it down on my end.

Me too, after. I am still a little kid at heart who HATES to lose like its life and death. Major mental glitch....

4 wins in a row? Think about it: to win the SB this year, Zimmer would need to win 6 in a row starting Sunday night in GB. The only time Zimmer has had a streak like that was in the middle of the 2017 season, but that 8-game streak was peppered with 4 losing teams, including the 1-15 Browns. The only loser upcoming is the Bears. It's not happening.

Let’s talk about the %s Zimmer keeps his job if we back our ass in the playoffs to get blown out the 1st game….I’d say 10% he keeps his job and 0% if we dont make it …hell the cowboys have a 10% chance to win he super bowl and they’re pretty good so ion wantttttt it 😂😂😂. I’m not weighing the 1% vs 10% to be lucky as hell!!!

Keeping Zim or having a better chance that is a no brainer for me.

I know for sure he not going to do it will the next one maybe maybe not, but I rather take that chance to at least try.

So call it what you want we got like 5 people want to keep doing this BS for 8 more years I am not one of those 5. I am tired of repeating and explaining myself. It is bigger than the stupid Packers.. I want championship.

It's bigger than Zim and one individual game.. I am looking at the whole picture and the future. While y'all crying over me saying go ahead and lose. It don't mean guys to quit it means play hard and I hope we come up short for the players and fans sake because we stuck in mud with this coaching bunch. How many times I have to type what I am getting at before some of you get the picture STFU and let me vent and state my opinion? How many times huh?

Nope.  Make the playoffs. Every team starts the playoffs at 0-0.  You either win or lose. 4 games at most. It's the only time during the year you need to put a 4 game winning streak together.  Doesn't matter how many wins you had last year, how many times in the last 5 years you have been in the playoffs. Look at Tampa. 0 playoffs for the last 10 years. Then a Super Bowl.  Hell, in those 10 years they had 2 winning seasons.   Green Bay has been in the playoffs 8 of the last 10 years. What has it got them?  A Super bowl? Nope. 

Make it to the playoffs and see what happens.  You don't need to be in the playoffs every year to win a Super Bowl. You just need 4 good games when you get to them.
