It is a hallmark of the Zimmer Era. Get down 17 points, and start throwing nothing but two yard passes to Ham and draw plays to Cook. Take no chances, gain nothing in return. It's how you get 38-7 when any other team loses 38-17, 45-24 or something like that. Which is what will happen tonight.
It is so frustratingly predictable while being mind-blowingly paradoxical. Your one, one in ten thousand chance to win this game is to throw caution to the wind and hope Sean Mannion finds that horseshoe that was up Case Keenum's ass. But Zimmer won't let him try. That is, above else, the thing I won't miss about his craven ass
Outside of the first couple of plays, NOTHING has been working on offense. NOTHING. You think that's by design? You think it can be overcome by chucking it downfield? We'll see a pick soon. We'll see how well that theory works. lol.
