We have a flow of the game?  

My only knock on him from the game was he choosing to not take a kickoff that was only a few yards deep into the endzone out in the 2nd half. He was our best chance at scoring at that point in the game, and he needs to be more aggressive.

I wonder if we could use him like we used David Palmer in the late 90's, where he is our 3rd and short specialist on a down and distance this offense struggles so much at.

Yeah I was just playing along.   Have they named it the Little Kubes Offense yet, and fitted him for the HOF jacket?

Little Kubes and Uncle Mike just had a beer after the game, it was spotted by TMZ you can hear them laughing "The Wilfs really gave us another week" The Pattersons were seen in the background shaking their heads hoping their family gets the next HC opportunity. 

One of the benefits that Kene brings to the table is it gives the offense another threat of someone with the ability to take it to the house on every touch. Specifically in the backfield, Cook is a threat for that but that's it: Mattison and Ham aren't taking anything to the house if they get to the 2nd level. And on the outside, Jefferson is probably the lone threat: Thielen doesn't have blazing straight-line speed, neither does Osborn or Westbrook (that we've seen) and we don't use Chisena as a WR...

So on offense, it's Cook and Jefferson that defenses have to focus on not allowing the big play with YAC. But with Kene out there on the same field as Cook/Jefferson, that should give us another speed threat.

I have been saying this over and over for year it seems, but I really think the Vikings should be doing more double-RB offensive sets with Kirk in the shotgun and 2 RB's flanked either side of him w/ 1 TE and 2 WR out wide - you can do so much from that set both pre-snap and post-snap.

Imagine this scenario: Kirk is in shotgun formation and Cook/Kene are flanked either side of him with Conklin next to Darrisaw and both Thielen/Jefferson out wide. The LB's will have to be paying attention to Cook/Kene in the backfield and the S's will probably be playing Cover 2 on both WR's to not allow anything over the top. If you have Thielen/Jefferson run straight fly routes, that should allow the S's to cover both over the top on the edges of both sides of the field and w/ the LB's basically "frozen" watching Cook/Kene, that leaves Conklin space to just go in right behind them to a wide open middle of the field for a very healthy 15-20 yd+ gain (if that was Irv Smith, it could be more).

You could set up draws, or even plays where Conklin and Cleveland pull to the right side as Conklin/Cleveland/Cook are not out in front of a Kene handoff to try and spring him to the 2nd level.

The point is, the threat Kene brings to the table "should" benefit the offense and allow the playbook more freedom...that's IF (and it's a big IF), the offensive coaching staff can take advantage of it....
