The 5 stages of grief

For me it was Oct 23rd, 2016.   The loss to Philly after the 5-0 start, which had been preceded by the weird, Zimmer putting mutilated stuffed animals in the locker room deal.  Throwing players under the bus afterwards, calling them soft.   And prior to that a presser I will never forget on Oct 21st, where he came in and was so arrogant and brusque with the press.  Yeah he was 5-0, but he acted like he'd already won 3 Super Bowls and was entitled to piss on the assembled media.   All that weird stuff in such a short period of time, with a 5-0 team.  He was cracking under the "strain" of a situation most coaches would love to be in, just totally bizarre behavior.  Not up to the job, it became apparent right then and there.   

Then it just snowballed into 8-8 and all the other crap that year.  Funny that last Viking game I attended in person was the Texans game a couple weeks earlier, where they got to 5-0.   This is why I don't like going to games-- I guess I jinxed it all lol!
