I am not defending Zimmer in this debate. I am merely stating. If you are complaining they run the ball on 3rd and long, then you can't complain if they throw on 3rd and long and get intercepted

Legends one more thing my guy.. People act like we played some A1 defense against Ravens. Sure offense was worse but we gave up 34 and tons of yards to Ravens. Defense is what you saw Miami do, they shut down that Thursday night. That is what I call grade A defense. We was bend and break some, Miami defense brought the heat. 22 points got the job done and one was a defensive touchdown. Want to be called a dominate defense dominate then. I will take two turnovers, but we still let them control the clock too. Lamar didn't have that much trouble against our defense.

So we have a offense who lately stinks and a average defense, it not getting it done. This started way before Covid and injuries. Our defense 28th on total defense.. Our defense not the worse but no better than average IMO. Unacceptable the whole team is after 8 years and the money we spent on this roster.

I will answer it for you, for me it is CB.. Yes Peterson hurt, but geez.. We signed 5 CBs this off season, Drafted 3 CBs prior in the 2020 draft.. But now one guy and even with him the position was suspect as a whole goes down we trash? How with so many resources and a coach who suppose to specialize at that position? Yet besides Xavier who he inhereted and I will give you Newman. Besides them two. Only good CB we brought in was PP with all them resources CB still a problem all these years impossible.

Did we miss the part where he is working with Cousins this year and helping him better understand defenses? And that he's assigning additional assignments to the offensive coaches to push them to work through some things? He has to oversee it somewhat. That's his responsibility. I think the Zimmer game management is most apparent in all these last 5 minutes of the second quarter where we look like Keystone Kops on offense and they look like Judge Dredd and get at least a crack at a field goal. There's 45 points allowed in the last 2 minutes of the second quarter of 8 football games. Can you imagine the absolute mindf*ck of a quarter it would if we gave up 45 points in a quarter of football? Well, we basically did that!

That's not even including multiple meltdowns on D to the likes of Sam Darnold, Jared Goff and Cooper Rush.

But don't worry, we're going to look at the game tape to figure out why the last 5 minutes of the halves are an abomination. we're gonna self-scout.

Again, two moved on to be HC and one retired. Does anyone think we're this bad with Gary around? The situation sucks, but there was a lot of love for KK coming in. He operates similar to Stefanksi, the players love him, etc. The move made a lot of sense. Kubiak is struggling, but I doubt it'll always be this way. Unfortunately for Zimmer, he doesn't have the luxury of growing pains.

I agree. CB has been disappointing. Too much capital spent on no return.

Because we could point to a couple dozen other things that mattered more, and much before that point, that the team never should have even been in that position. This delay of game penalty isn't even in the top 20. Maybe not even top 30.
