The Lions are the only team remaining that has never won the game, so I will be glad to see them win. It should give hope to Vikings fans that a drought can actually end for a long-suffering team. If the Lions can climb the mountain, so can we...someday.

Bah. I don't deny there are suspicious acts of favoritism at times, but not frequent. If the NFL was rigged, why wouldn't they be distributing championships to franchisees more evenly? We're a bigger market than Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Kansas City, Denver, and Baltimore, all with multiple SB championships.

Truth is, there have been times when the league, or at least its television patrons, certainly would have WANTED the Vikings in the Super Bowl, and the team just fell through. Don't you think they wanted Randy Moss and our offensive powerhouse playing against Elway in Super Bowl 33 instead of the dull Falcons?

It's easier to think some conspiracy has prevented our success, at least easier than admitting incompetent ownership, management, and coaching. Truth hurts.

It's not the same for The Vikings. They're constantly in the spotlight and under the magnifying glass. The sports world needs a lovable loser, a sob story. Makes for good drama and the Cubs Aren't there anymore. The Vikings are a prime candidate and heir to the throne. 63 years and counting right? 37 more makes 100 years. How juicy is that? AH!!! The Vikings and their long suffering fans. You're right though, one day the Vikings will win a super Bowl. Question remains, will you be alive to see it? *lol*

It's a rerun on many cycles through for me as well. Once, I just assumed I would live to see one or more SB championships for the Vikings. I'm not so sure now.

It's apples and oranges as a comparison . But, the Golden Knights have 2 Conference championships and a Stanely Cup in 6 years of existence . Different sports but, They're both Professional Organizations dedicated to winning Championships.

The Buccaneers where a horrible organization when they entered the league. Took em a while just to win a regular season game. Now here we are down and they've 2 Super Bowls Trophy's. This year yea, they were beaten by the Lions. But, still trounced a team in the playoffs that the Vikings haven't been able to beat, no matter what the circumstances lol . But, as if loosing isn't bad enough? the caliber of play is just............ *facepalm*

Here's something else that is painful, I hadn't thought about it, but it is true. Since US Bank stadium has opened the Eagles and Giants have just as many Playoff wins in there as the Vikes do. Of course Philly's was a Super Bowl which is worse.

The SB drought is hard for this older Vikings fan but as long as the people in Minnesota support the losing is ok and mediocrity is the high bar for the team then there is no reason the billionaire owners will change .

Vikings won the NFL Championship the SB vs KC does not count as anything but an exhibition game. They were 2 different leagues. NFL teams played exhibition games againt CFL and NCAA teams too over the years. If the team that won the NFL championship lost one of those exhibition games does that mean they didn't win the championship?

Another NFL season in the books and another FAILURE for the weak, cowardly stiffs from MN. If I could change just one thing in my life, (nearing 60), it would be my connection to this ridiculous, pitiful franchise from MN. I gave up "real" hope after the 88 season and the ass-kickin we took in SF. Even in 98, I knew all year that failure was looming right behind door number one. It was. In 09, maybe our best team ever from top to bottom.........I had no real expectation of a SB. I knew the walls would collapse at some point. In 17? Ha! With Kendricks at MLB? No way they were going into Philly and winning. Now? No hope at all. The cupboards are bare. There's literally nothing to even be hopeful about. This is a garbage franchise with a garbage GM who is on pace to be one of the worst GMs ever. He hasn't done anything right so far. You'd think a guy could at least get lucky one out of 18 times. Not our guy. Something about the horns on the side of the helmets. Those horns represent buffoonery, cowardice, incompetence and surrender. Remember............this is a franchise so pitiful it couldn't even get it's 1st pick to the podium on time. And there's a SB in it's future? Yeah. Right!

The Detroit Lions, I wager, will win the Super Bowl before Vikings.

The Vikings will never participate in a Super Bowl game as long as Wilf owns the team. I conceded to myself that it might not be the Vikings' Super Bowl victory before I pass away. They have no hope.
