So you're saying that the Vikings have a better chance at a championship with Spielman and Zimmer than with a new pairing.
If that were true, why is it that no 21st century GM or HC has been on the job even CLOSE to as long as Spielman or Zimmer before winning their first conference championship?
And why isn't there currently a single NFL team employing either a GM or HC with anything close to either RS or Zim's tenure but no conference championship to show for it?
I want to win something, some take on the same mentality of our ownership, let's make it look like we relevant and be good with it. I know I am tired of GB always haven the upper hand on us. To each is his/her own, but I want more it's been years with them. It's not working clearly.
That's pretty much me too. I've seen enough first round playoff losses and 8-8ish seasons to last me this lifetime and the next.
And while people are right that new leadership comes with risks, what I think they're missing is just how extremely unlikely it is for Spielman/Zimmer to be the first guys who've been around forever to suddenly crack the code and guide the Vikings into the Super Bowl.
