Week 4 - Browns @ Vikings Support Group

Right, meanwhile I see Mac Jones finding was to be competitive. Watching this game hurts. I swear it's coaching and culture. They let the GOAT go and at least competing with him. I thought Brady would kill them in a statement game, but nope who would have thunk it. Bill has his boys ready and competing. It is risk but only kind of because we already in no mans land going nowhere IMO. 

I liked Rick, especially next to Zim. But I said in a thread earlier I made this summer that, if this year failed I was not going to single one out but call for a full clean.  So yeah I am at the point of all being gone and all getting their share of blame.

What is worse beating sorry Detroit next week will not quench my thirst they suck. I wanted this win to show me after Seattle we could build off that. Seems like we never build off momentum. We beat Saints in Miracle and followed it up with a dud. We never string success on top of success. We just so yoyo this team under this regime.

They only showed the replay once at the stadium. Seeing it now, YIKES!

Yikes that's a missed TD....cost us the game

Not with the injury, but Culpepper had many faults that had been camouflaged by Randy Moss. Without Moss, Culpepper's future was questionable. Culpepper was a hot and cold type of player that had trouble going through his progressions as well. I made several posts about this at the time on other boards.

I would have drafted Aaron Rodgers at 18 after taking linebacker Derrick Johnson at 7. I took sh*t for three years for wanting to draft Brett Favre's clipboard holder, and so did the Packers.

The wide receivers I liked prior to the draft were Braylon Edwards and Mark Clayton. Edwards went to Cleveland at 3 overall, but Clayton was available for the Vikings at 18. I am on record stating I would have considered Clayton and Marcus Spears at 18, but I would likely still have gone with Rodgers.

I remember that draft. You just knew they were gonna go reciever with the Raiders pick and it bugged me to no end cause I didn't think Williamson was worth it. The book on him at the time was literally "can't run routes and has iffy hands, but he's super fast". I didn't want anything to do with him. That scouting report was not #7 overall material.

However I won't pretend I was in on Aaron. I had serious reservations about Culpepper without Moss but I figured we could play well enough on offense to still win games. I believe it was the year before that Daunte had proclaimed that he had mastered the art QB and compared himself to a Jedi Knight. It might have even been that year, I forget. Either way the Skywalkers ended up having little to fear from the Culpepper clan.

I didn't hate the James pick. I believe he was one of the many Viking first rounders to get hurt and never really pan out, but I remember he wasn't terrible.
