Crowning production and outlook compared to investment.
In reference to your Aaron Donald comment if you're grading every GM on that every pick they make no better player can be picked behind them. You're just sitting there lying yourself and blowing smoke up your ass to try to convince yourself that you're right.
Also it's way way higher than the top 10.
And here is a perfect example of hindsight. When Teddy Bridgewater's leg exploded I didn't want to sit there in September be like oh well the whole season's ruined I'm not going to be able to care about anything blah blah blah. I like the aggressive move to take a chance and go take Sam Bradford. For a fan base that's been crying about how conservative we are.... You think at the same time the other side of that is taking shots and being aggressive. And when you do that you're not going to hit at a super high percentage. So what is it? do you want to be conservative or do you want to take chances? You can't have it both ways to fill your chosen narrative of the moment....
I don't know anybody that thought trading for Bradford was a smart move. Sometimes you're just sunk. But that's part of his problem. An inability to truly see where the team is and when it's a good idea to be aggressive. When was the last trade player for picks when he was on the right side (big moves)? He's getting fleeced and willing to do it because he doesn't know when to fold 'em. Probably the last awesome trade was Jared Allen, but that was a looooong time ago and countless gaffes have followed.
He's had a decade to assemble his team, his coaches, his scouts, etc. He failed.
