I don't really have any problem with Viking media, they are just doing their jobs like the rest of us and those jobs aren't defined as working on behalf of the team. If you need blind homer dullwit content, just tune in Paul Allen every morning.
My takes on the ones I actually read from time to time:
Cronin - better when she digs for info vs. doing opinion talk, gets some decent stuff at times, takes sh*t from fans imo because she's female
Coller - does a credible job digging info, kinda goes on and on, but his writing is more readable than some. Gets hung up on a theme at times like 'everything wrong with Kirk' and repeats it ad nauseam. Give him credit for making a go of it after he lost the radio gig.
Hasan - really goes on and on, more part of the new breed of analytics geeks who often confuse quantity with quality, but did parlay fandom into an actual job as a journalist for which he deserves props.
Mark Craig - old school, used to be more go-to but seems like a part timer now who isn't on top of it. I don't think the social media aspect appeals to him which is why he seems almost retired.
Ben Goessling - seems to be more wired to the inside of the org than most. Level headed which is unusual in this day and age.
Andrew Krammer - just a guy who writes about football.
Chris Tomasson - last but surely not least, in the eyes of fans he's the Snidely Whiplash (go look that up kids) of reporters. I'm entertained by Zimmer being permanently pissed at him. Reality is he is less of a team shill than some, who actually digs out useful insights and info at times while writing for what might be the most obscure media outlet in the metro. And he doesn't seem to mind the villain role.
