Dennison problem too is playing the wrong guys and maybe his way of teaching doesn't develop guys. You can know something and not be good at teaching it. Sometimes a different voice and a different way of motivating guys can help a guy develop.

Now being that head voice gives him the green light to go ahead and put his full personality in the OL instead of being a yes man.

Bill Callahan was another guy he learned under. You should never bite one guy's complete style. A coach should mix in bits and pieces he learned from different coaches and create his own style when he gets his chance to take over IMO. Be your own person.

Example, you learn from your parents. I take some of what they taught me, but I am my own person with my own mind. There are some things I do differently with my kids off my own life experience and being my own person. Never be a robot put your own ideas into things. Klint Kubiak should do the same too.

FTR, you've gone from being a guy Funky was continually chastising to being a very good contributor here.

Forgive me if I'm confusing you with someone else, I just seem to remember you guys having issues in the not-so-distant past.

People sue even if they don't have a likely chance to win, and sometimes they "get something" - compensation, a chance to stay employed - just because who they are suing doesn't want to have a spectacle and distraction. Dennison and the Vikings handled this privately for 3 months, but I think they couldn't resolve it and the team was ready to fire him - but he threatened to file a lawsuit and make it public. As you said, he probably wouldn't win in court - but he could get his grievance into "the court of public opinion". That could make Dennison a martyr for everyone who agrees with him, and force the Vikings into looking like their opponent. Avoiding that was bought by giving him a salary for this season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dennison is barely in the building. I have seen employees do something that the company didn't like, but could not quite justify firing them (and sometimes because they threatened to sue if fired), and instead the employee gets a new job title or role, maybe something like "special projects", and the company hopes they realizes they have been marginalized, or is bored, and just quits.

Thanks Josey. Funkytown and I actually always been cool though. I just use to get into it with a few people mainly on Off Topics. It would then affect my whole experience and post on the whole site. Decided that Off Topic area is not for me, I fit much much better now. Funk and I never had problems Funk been my bud.

I never been a bad guy though most people I can get along with. I have settled down turned over a new leaf and want to show the real Drank not the upset Drank.

Funkytown oh how sweet just saw the next post. Glad I been able to improve and settle down so the not upset Drank can shine through.

That is true. Just a long drawn out process and bad publicity, would likely cause them to reach a settlement. You definitely right about that people do that all the time, didn't think about that angle.

I am aware of a real life situation where some relative of a corporate big shot was forced onto the staff of a medium sized factory. After multiple screw ups, he was told that his job was 100% to just stay at home.
