You think Zimmer runs the drafts or Rick? Who has the final say?

I get it the truth hurts some. It not Zim fault we 17-36 against good teams la la la.. He can do no wrong everything he touches turns to gold. He takes and develops CBs in the draft like no other.. When what I am seeing is him taking mainly vets who are already established. I give him credit for Xavier that is the only one here he has developed so far. I think Dantzler will turn out so that may be one. Then again he didn't draft Xav knowing him he would have drafted another one of his first round bums instead. Mr. guru CB whisperer himself.

Those bum OL again taken because the scheme we run and the offensive coaches Zim wanted. The guys Zim hires thought were great fits and identified as the guys for us. Blowzier Mr. Dennison guy who Zimmy bought in with Kubs. A guy they left in all season even though he got destroyed. They was like of eff it leave him in for 16. Coaches decide who plays. But but Samia yeah another guy his offensive coaches identified as a perfect scheme fit on and on. LOL!

I feel the same way and Rick has his warts with those sorry panic trades. I would understand if he was let go to. The record is on him too. I just see more potential with Rick than Zim because I think Rick is more willing to adjust to different ideas if he had another coach. If Andy was here and was like man give me speed WRs Rick would act accordingly. He even did it this year when he was asked to get a high upside (Mond) QB. Also when Zim was like these small guys haven't been working and told Rick to go against the grain of Dennison philosophy and focus this time on power and size more that 40 times lol!

FTR.. If someone want to make a thread bashing Rick be my guest. He is not without flaws neither. Mr. Panic trades when injuries occur. Yannick, Bradford etc etc..

The difference between me and some is I don't defend the undefendable over personal feelings. A bad season could cost Rick as well. This was made to point out Zim though and his failure to beat and adjust to real competition. While he beats up and pads his resume against scrubs. Great against scrubs, a lame against Giants equals average in my book.

The beauty of it none of the final chapters are written yet. They all still get a chance to change that I will be here cheering. This the No Excuses no BS year though. I not holding nothing back. They either change the narrative or I am coming with venom and fire all year. The time is now, I am sick of holding back, get ur done and right the ship for all 3 Zim, Rick, and Cousins. No more excuses.

We all have a right to complain because we all stay loyal my friends. We earned the right and expect better results. We hungry feed us our championship we been wanting delivered we been patient long enough SKOL.

Oh I get it now, Rick just needs more time and his 15 or so years of acting as GM hasn't been enough. It is Zimmer, the guy he hired and continues to employ who is preventing him from making the moves that can win a SB in 2021.

Zimmer has had plenty of time to prove he is a SB HC, but not the GM who has been here longer.

I really can't fathom how anyone can logically thinks Zimmer is this bad of a HC can not want the GM who keeps him around gone just as much. Makes zero sense.

I can only speak for myself, but if they fire Rick too it is fair if this year fails. I just think he is a good GM and with the right coach and schemes would be lethal. With how he calculates the draft and stacks picks. It really isn't that Zim can't coach he can defense.

The stubborn personality is getting in his way. Okay he now acknowledging he needs to be more innovated on defense, but why not offense? Why still refuse to add a #3 WR or double down on that OL like he does on defense? So he is down entering the 21 century on defense but not offense yeah okay.

When we hired Zim it was a good move a good hire by Rick. He came in changed the culture brought discipline and more toughness. The honeymoon has ended though now we need to answer the bell and evolve and grow as a HC as he gains experience. So see the hire was not a mistake. But Zim has to learn from the mistakes and grow that is on him.

We haven't been trash, but now it is time to take it up a notch and be more consistent. Start passing more. Yes we had solid marks in passing, but still last or almost last in attempts. Start mixing it up 2 TEs and also 3 WR sets. Pass on 1st down some instead of run run pass. Start having the same energy for stacking offense just like the defense etc etc.. Do that and keep Dalvin fresh and late in games and late in the season have a fresh Dalvin saw off games and bring us home. Evolve, he was the right coach at the right time in 2014.. Now show you still the right man come 2022 by adjusting, Rick made the right hire. Zim was a damn good DC and a defensive mind who deserved his shot. It is on Zim not Rick though to take it up a notch and evolve as you learn over the years as HC.

The #3 WR and play calling is on him that is what he demands.. We had what 6/7 OC all say Zim wants to play conservative on offense not aggressive. He doesn't want the offense opened up. I love running too, but some games the passing game is what is working. I want balance pass and run with a slight lean pass. So we can keep Dalvin fresher to grind the game away at the end of games. Run or pass depending on game and what is working.
