That doesn't sound right... perhaps I'm thinking of the guy the Colts let go and replaced with Strausser. Who knows.

And yes, I'm in agreement on Dozier, as I've said numerous times. I don't have a problem with the draft with one exception: not drafting Trey Smith when he fell. Anything that could push Dozier and Samia for a roster spot would have been a smart move. Oline depth can get taxed in a hurry. Guys like Dozier are always available. No need to stash one.

Yes, and signing Dozier when the Vikings did had every sign that they felt the need to "stash" him - not wait and see what they got in the draft, worried someone else might "steal" Dozier. OK, unless he has some other OL coaches around the league that he played for (and, apparently, had incriminating photos of) Dozier was going to be available long after the draft. That's what makes me afraid Dozier will stick around, maybe even start - he was a priority for our OL coach.

My concern is that if this team carries 10 OL, unless they add anyone, it looks like the contenders for roster spots are::

OT: O'Neill, Darrisaw, Hill, Udoh
OG: Cleveland, Davis, Hinton, Samia, Dozier
C: Bradbury, Cole

yeah, I agree this OL looks a lot better. I'm guessing you could stash Samia on the practice squad though given how poor he played last season... That kind of goes back to my original point. Adding someone like Smith to push there wouldn't have been a bad option for a 5th/6th round pick. As it is, I tend to agree that one of those guys doesn't make the team, but I'd rather both not have made it and one end up on the PS.

You have to be kidding SMH! Go sign another FA then for goodness sakes. I rather Hill start a game than Blowzier though, but neither need to.

Get Okung or Turner or others on line 1. That is why I wanted to get a few more FAs so this possibility didn't happen. One injury or not ready yet away from this crap. Double down especially on Blowzier.

Hill can play in a pinch and should make the team as a swing OT, but Blowzier cut him dang.

You know how Zimmy I stubborn with playing rookies early....... now add a missed portion of offseason practices (due to injury recovery for Darrisaw) to the equation......

All I'm saying is.... I will not be at all surprised if one or both Dozier/Hill are starting week 1.
