Mike Zimmer said they still have "some holes" on offense but there's still time to get some good players. He said the defense was "barren" and that they had to initially address that. Said the signings have gotten him "rejuvenated".

Zimmer said he was "down in the dumps" after the season looking at the defensive roster and cap space after the season but now he feels much better after they made the space and brought in guys who want to be in MN. Zimmer called Tomlinson and Pierce "space eaters".
Zimmer said the defense will look completely different than last year due to the injured players coming back and the signees and "I'm excited about the whole crew.''
