My issue isn't that you can afford it, my issue is that you could have all the same content through official streaming services, for cheaper.
Not to mention, you could have all the same content through unofficial streaming sources, for free. Even your exact cable package could be had through an unlicensed IPTV service for a fraction of the cost. (I:E, entire directtv package available to stream for 10$ per month, etc. etc.)
My concern isnt that you cant afford cable, my concern it's not nessecary, especially when one catches on to how easy it is to get anything for free through the internet.
I didn't tell you what to buy or not buy. I was just surprised you preferred cable to streaming, I don't see any practical benefit of cable > streaming, beyond simply being what most oldsters (not saying you lol) are used to.
Even the unofficial IPTV services (by far the cheapest option to get live channels) come off as pricey to me, I can only imagine what a cable bill is like, but I understand not everyone feels comfortable getting unlicensed content.
