Vikings Schedule 2017

What is the league thinking? Who the hell wants to watch the Saints vs Vikings on prime time, or the Bears vs Vikings? Seriously how the hell do the Bears get a Monday night game? Once upon a time they'd only schedule the best teams to play on MNF the following year, but now it seems to be a take your turn kind of thing and it's making for some unwatchable prime time football. And the Lions again on Thanksgiving? I would understand if this were some compelling rivalry or had last years edition been some instant classic.

More importantly the league is setting us up for another second half collapse lol. We play a heavy home schedule in the first half of the season against some fairly easy opponents, and the second half of the season is chock-full of road games. I guess they want to get us prepared for our semi-annual 6th seed run haha. So yeah, if we make it to the bowl from the 6th seed, we'll have played 10 of our final 13 on the road. And yes despite the Super Bowl being in our own stadium this year, we would be considered the road team.

And I haven't checked yet, but let me guess. Dallas got it's usual 8 prime time games? You know, since they're America's team and all that.
