Tom has also consistently taken less than market for his services... even when he was younger... now to be fair, I think his wife is worth more than him, but still. Brady has been an ultimate team guy. You need some of those to play well in a world of salary cap.

I think Tom also "plays the long game" in regards to his money. How much did he make with his book, his diet plan and such...how much is he going to make as a public speaker after he retires? Point is, I think that for the last 5-10 years, he has been thinking about ways to capitalize on "GOAT" after his career, and has made a point to expand that status - and make it almost impossible to imagine anyone surpassing him.

It's not really worth comparing other players to him IMO.
