Thursday games are only played on Thanksgiving. Dallas and Detroit keep their traditional home games, eliminate the triple-header.
All byes are by division, two divisions a week from Weeks 7-10.
Rosters stay at 53, but all 53 dress and are eligible to play.
Pro Bowl returns to Hawai'i and after the Super Bowl. Any player selected for the game that did not appear on the injury list before his teams last game HAS TO GO. He doesn't have to play, that is between him and the coach, but he has to be there. Also, players from the loosing squad don't get paid. Winners take all.
OT stays the same regular season, postseason moves to a 15 minute quarter, if tied at the end of that, sudden death.
Defensive Pass Interference is a 15 yard penalty no matter where it happens in relation to the line of scrimmage. It really shouldn't be a better than 50/50 chance you get a catch or penalty on 40 yard passes because of flag happy refs.
And, no, coaches can't challenge a missed call. They are part of the game, always have been, good teams don't lose to bad calls...when they get the ball first in OT, their HoF QB doesn't throw a pick.
