Just an FYI that today, 2/23/2021 is "Tag Day" in the NFL offseason, NFL teams can tag veteran free agents with either the franchise or transition tags. Teams have until March 9th to designate tagged players.
ESPN put out an article today listing some potential "tag" targets and predicted if they will/won't tag them - link. There's some interesting names from a Viking's perspective - both from a possibility of pursuing them in free agency and division rivals using a tag.
Falcons: Keanu Neal, S - "Prediction: Neal is a good, young safety and can be a key part of the defense, so the Falcons tag him."
Bills: Matt Milano, LB - "Prediction: The Bills won't use the franchise tag on Milano."
Ravens: Mathew Judon or Yannick Ngakoue, DE/OLB - "Prediction: The Ravens won't use the tag this year, marking the fourth time in five years Baltimore won't tag a player."
Panthers: Taylor Moton, RT - "Prediction: The Panthers will use the franchise tag on Moton if a long-term deal cannot be worked out before the new league year begins."
Bengals: Carl Lawson, DE - "Prediction: The Bengals won't use the franchise tag on Lawson."
Bears: Allen Robinson II, WR - "Prediction: The Bears will use the franchise tag on Robinson."
Cowboys: Dak Prescott, QB - "Prediction: The Cowboys will use the franchise tag on Prescott."
Broncos: Justin Simmons, S - "Prediction: The Broncos will use the franchise tag on Simmons only to give them more time to get a long-term deal done."
Lions: Kenny Golladay, WR - "Prediction: The Lions will use the franchise tag on Golladay."

Jets: Marcus Maye, S - "Prediction: The Jets and Maye will reach a long-term agreement, avoiding New York from having to use the franchise tag."
Seahawks: Shaquill Griffin, CB - "Prediction: The Seahawks won't use the franchise tag on Griffin."
Buccaneers: Chris Godwin, WR - "Prediction: The Buccaneers will use the franchise tag on Godwin with the hopes of making a long-term extension happen."
Titans: Jonnu Smith, TE - "Prediction: The Titans will place the franchise tag on Smith and work on a long-term deal to keep him in Tennessee for a while."
Washington: Brandon Scherff, RG - "Washington will use the franchise tag on Scherff, but it will be with the idea of continuing to negotiate and, ultimately, reach a deal. It might just take a while to get there."
