In early 2001 my SR year i had a bad injury in my ankle and it cost me my football career in my opinion since i was a 250 lb DE that went from a 4.6 to a 5.5 40 and lost my scholarship to Rutgers. I tried out at 19 for the NY Dragons of the arena league made it to the final round of cuts during a open try out and made it to the final cuts with the Philadelphia Soul the following year but got cut in favor of a guy who spent time on the Bills practice squad as like the 3rd center. Went to college & walked on to the wrestling team so my NCAA was spent as a wrestler not a football player. Luckily i never got paid by the AFL or i wouldn't be able to wrestle. The dorm life and partying lead to me being academically ineligible so left school like 50 credits short of a degree in secondary education and joined the Army. After the Army i had a few pro MMA fights but unless your in a major organization like the UFC or at the time Pride or Strikeforce there isn't alot of money in it and i had to choose between fighting or putting food in my 2 kids stomach, have 3 now. So just because im on here or you doesn't mean we didn't have ability or skill it just means other things got in the way.

Danchat I might have exaggerated one thing. I ran that 4.75 in like 2019 it's likely 4.8 something now. I am getting slower by the year lol. I still work out though my son dusted me a while back 😂 I almost forgot 🤦🏾‍♂️
