I'm sick and tired of our people going other places and being more successful.
Doesn't that sink in with anyone?
Steelers coach was here. Leaves. Win Super Bowls.
Stefanski - Gone Success.
Diggs - traded. Best year ever.
Paton will go to Denver and do better than Spielman. (That's a lock).
We fire Priefer, he goes to Cleveland and is successful. We bring in some other guy who we fire.
We just constantly suck.
1) Tomlin was thought of as a "Rooney rule" interview by many around the league and was a shock he got the job at the time. Also it was Childress' 1st or 2nd yr and i believe our defense under Tomlin was around 20th so it wasn't like we were the 2017 defense that Zimmer built.
2) Stefanski was a hard one to take I'll give you that one
3) Diggs didn't do much early and will have a cap hit of 12.2 million in '21, 13 million in '22 & 12.1 in '23. Im sure he'll get a new deal before 2022. You think we have cap problems now imagine his contract added to our 2021 cap. Luckily Jefferson seems to be a great replacement. If it wasn't for 1 play in the 2017 playoffs not many people would really miss him all too much.
4) Patton will still have Elway looking over his shoulder making the final decisions so he wont get to mold that team as he sees fit. If it goes good Elway will take the credit and if it goes bad its on him. Not a great position to be in except for the pay increase and job title he is in a no win situation in Denver.
5) Priefer was a hell of a coach and i hate Chris Kluwe because of Priefer. But you do have to kinda put Walsh cracking and Carlson starting slow on him too.
