That's ridiculous. For all his talent, that compensation package is way too much. I'd rather dump Cousins and Grab Dak Prescott, he has a better ball anyway. The other concern is him being "Vocal" the way he is, and I'm not talking about JJ Watt vocal either. The fact stated that they need a "cultural shift" in the organization is one thing, but to tweet out " things never change" regarding the new GM hire, who seems legit btw, is a concern for me.
I think he's in "Whining for Trade" mode, and I don't really blame him considering what he's had to endure, especially O'Brien's poor decisions, but they were very close in the majority of their losses this season. Draft a stub RB and add a defense piece and they're competing for the dance.
I do think he'll be traded, but considering what he's produced in 3 years, it's going to be to a top 3 team in the draft, unless Jerry lets Dak walk and manages to give up the farm to trade for him, which is quite possible, I think he's a minor upgrade over DAK and would walk into a stacked offense and a healthy O-line that should be top 5 in the league.
Either way, he showed his ass in the public forum and should be shown the door.
Well that would be the trick right figuring out how to part with cousins. It is possible, but obviously difficult. And dak is a good qb, but Watson is better. I think he is just sick of how incompetent the Texans organization is. They are in disarray and have been disfunctional for awhile. It starts with their owner. It has been structured very wrong for awhile.
... and neither is this Chris guy.
