The rest just didn't make sense to me, this team has talent, at least on offense. Defense was depleted to back ups and practice squad players as were my expectations of that defense. Change is needed in the coaching room, someone utilized Denny Green as an example of getting the most out of his cast, Zimmer is not capable enough to do this. Let us not forget the mistakes that Green made as well though, 1998 championship game ring a bell!? He also blew goats with the cardinals as well. He had a good group in Minnesota, Carter, Moss, Cunningham, Robert Smith, Culpepper oh yeah, an offensive line! Key being an O-Line. We've placed so many resources towards our defense during the Zimmer era, we cannot possibly build an oLine capable of competing consistently. Not sure who to blame for that one, Rick or Zimm. If it was Zims direction, it's obviously on him. Shame on Rick.

If there was one mistake made over the years, it was letting Tomlin walk IMO. His success has been fantastic, but considering what he walked into, I would say he's been pretty lucky as well. Doesn't matter.

We've had two coordinators that have left this organization that gone on to win Super Bowls, yet we're still left out of the dance. 2 brilliant minds on offense and defense that we allowed to walk out the door. Shame on ownership!

Coaching is the key, especially when you have the talent that this team has, and yes, we have talent on both sides of the ball, but Zimmers inabilities have shined bright during his tenure, and his failures have cost this team a ton.

He needs to go.
