...and if and when the Vikings do win one in this next "era" of regular season/playoff "expansion", I somewhat feel it'll be a little "tainted" because it won't be the same as winning a Super Bowl in previous eras.
For example, let's say the Vikings somehow win 2 Super Bowls in the next 10 years and a Viking fan was to say to Steelers or Packers fan, "hey, we've won 2 Super Bowls and you haven't won any lately"...they could say, "yeah, but you couldn't win any when it was tougher to make the postseason", or something similar - those earlier Super Bowl titles of yesteryear somehow carrying more "value" and "weight" in the minds of sports fans...
And frankly, worrying about a tainted Viking title is not worth losing sleep over because the odds this team wins a title as currently comprised and with the same management and coaching that have been failing for nearly a decade in place, are really really really really really slim.
