They aren't talking about going into the season trying to win the division or win in the playoffs like we are most years they are wondering who will be available in the top 10 the following year.

Yes i want this team to win a championship and maybe we need to tank a year or two for that to happen but i have a question for you. Which season was more enjoyable for you, 2011 going 3-13 and getting the 3rd pick in the draft which became the 4th after a trade or last year barely making the playoffs and upsetting the Saints in the WC round before losing in SF?

Better look into some things.

Kubiak! That guy hasn't been relevant since he was banging the prom queen in high school. He might be one of the most predictable OC's in the NFL. Also he's stated many times he has no intrest in putting that much stress on his body since he did almost die as the Broncos HC from stress.

Also Cousins isn't making that much in 2020 so cant say his salary is killing this team.

I'm not married to this trio. More than willing to consider alternatives..... but I feel like this trio are a great FIT together. Fit is most important. Gotta complement each other......... otherwise you have, well whatever the hell Rick has been doing (Yannick is a great example... what in the actual f*ck was that? Lmao)

But Raptorman's sarcasm isn't unwarranted. People do go that far with Cousins sometimes. It's insane.

One thing I've noticed, though? Almost EVERY TIME we are in a situation for a 4th quarter comeback and it blows up in our faces ... the OL sucks as does the playcalling. How often have those things been good and Cousins just misses his guys? Much less often than his OC and OL letting him down. At least that's how I see it. I can live with us going down swinging, but repeatedly handing it off on early downs and then seeing Cousins running for his life in obvious passing situations? Yeah, it sucks. It sucks worse than Cousins. I get that Cook is a beast, and you want to give him his, but we also have other weapons. Use them, especially when it was working so well! This team! I swear! Ugh!

I'm not married to this trio. More than willing to consider alternatives..... but I feel like this trio are a great FIT together. Fit is most important. Gotta complement each other......... otherwise you have, well whatever the hell Rick has been doing (Yannick is a great example... what in the actual f*ck was that? Lmao)

Jim Harbaugh despite having success in SF for the most part just seems like a guy that belongs in college and once people figured out how to stop Kap he didn't seem that good if i remember correctly.

I would have no problem drafting Lance but he seems like he might need a yr to sit & learn. He hasn't played top competition in college and like 15 games ago he was in Minnesota playing HS football. I fear throwing him in there day 1 could turn him into a Ponder type of career.
