Yeah I'm going to have to go with Dan on this one. We're screwed if Diggs or Thielen suffer a long term injury. Diggs usually misses a few games a year already. I would like to see a field stretcher however. A burner. A deep threat. Diggs and Thielen are both intermediate receivers.

I hope so. Maybe this offseason will help him recharge his batteries mentally, but either way I don't see him returning to the former player he was. He's getting up there in age. He's 31 and this will be his 10th season.

I hope we don't make any hasty decisions in that department. If we get more of the same from him here in 2019 I think we gotta start making plans to look at other options beyond 2020. I'd hate to be on the hook with this dud for another 2-3 years after. I'm looking for improvements in the win department, especially against playoff caliber teams, games on the road, games in prime time, and at least an NFCCG appearance, although I suspect we might not have too many prime time games this year, hopefully, unless we're getting flexed into them later in the year because we're playing well.

A shrinking part of me finds hope that we're signing AAF DBs and now a DL. That glimmer of hope is that we'll actually invest our valuable draft capital in our only area of great need (see my signature). That said, the left side of my brain knows much, much better than to embrace such a fragile concept as "hope" given the decades of facts and data that are forever ingrained there.
