It saves time, it has the source, I'm posting from my phone, etc. Maybe if you guys spent 15-20 hours some weeks keeping the (former) site active ... maybe then you'd get it. I didn't always use Twitter ... but once I realized it made my job easier ... boom!

WHEN I'm on my laptop or WHEN I have the time ... I'll do better. But when I see an important tweet and have about 30 seconds before a staff walks in to see me on my personal cell ... I'm doing it my way. :)

Would be nice if you could make your living off of this, probably not going to happen.

Based on the pennies per hour I made at Vikings Journal, lol, never gonna happen. I want to get back to it feeling like a hobby, though ... and not a job. ...if that makes sense. It takes the fun out of it when it's an obligation. I just want to get back to enjoying the community. :)

I think I read that he is projected to be the starter in Oakland, so that may have had something to do with it.

I'm butthurt too, but its not my site. I tried to tell you that all of your tweets show up as blank posts years ago. I also tried to tell you that its not just on my personal computer. It also happens when I have tried to view the site from other computers. So you might figure into your thinking how you want this site to grow, and what people might do when they visit the site for the first time and find hundreds of blank posts by the site Administrator. Some threads are almost completely blank if they consist mostly of your tweets. It probably doesn't give the best impression.

I'm with funky on this simply because most sports sites these days are embedding tweets when relevant. Maybe a one sentence summary wouldn't hurt, but turning off/on embedded links is simple, amd shoildnt hurt you unless you're in some weird corners of the internet.

No reason to sign anyone else until after the draft.Just see how things shake out.
Can draft a starting caliber C/G (my boy Pat Elflein) plus another OL as well as a LB.I also think another DB will be drafted because this draft is loaded with talent.Also a DT.

I'm going to do another mock draft on the weekend to take the free agents we have signed into account.Should be fun to see how it pans out.

I like this guy the more I hear about him. He also said he'd like to finish his career in Minnesota.

That's fair. But it's also fair to say that 90% of the site's updates shouldn't be coming from me anyway. That's not where we want to be as a community either. It's also not a good look to be talking to myself. lol. That's why I've taken a step back and let others step up. A few members have really improved the site and have kept things going (thanks!). It's been nice. I've just been more active during free agency. Much of which comes in the form of tweets. It's the digital age. lol. And yes ... 99% of the time it's from my cellphone. I'm not about to get in trouble at work for being on this site on their computers. Unfortunately, they are stalkers when it comes to that. Heck, I don't even connect to their WiFi with my personal cell. They're ridiculous. lol.

Cook turned it down probably because he wanted to be a starter. No way he is going to start over or get as many snaps as Rudolph. Now the Jeffery one is interesting but Im glad we didn't sign him. I wonder if we would have been able to address our two new tackles, Theilen, and RB position had he accepted that contract. Plus he's injury prone. Elite skill set but I think he needs to prove that he can last a full season first. Maybe next year he can get a multi year deal if he proves himself this season
