Shortsighted and it's about the Viking brass. There are only 5 winning NFC teams and we play 2 of them. Then we will face nothing but. This team is fools gold just like the year before and the year before that. Have you watched this team? It's all meaningless to what many want for the big picture. That's not the bright side that's the side of reality.
What is bright about getting a playoff spot that never existed before this year if they even get it 5i what we have shown in the past? If you want to keep the trio of failure intact then there is all kinds of brightness.
What I'm jealous of or expecting? If you think grabbing the last seed with a terrible team just to make it then exit ever other year is bright? Have you looked at the roster and cap situation going forward. Then people want to keep what got us there to this point longer?
What I want is a competitive team that looks the part week in week out. One that as a fan you know ha the ability to be consistent and one that can win consistently week to week month to month year to year. People need to look at what has gone on since early 2000s to the now. This isn't some small sample size of suck.
