Have you seen Zeke play this year? He hasn't been very good, and has been completely unable to carry the team. The way the two backs have played, Zeke doesn't deserve to be mentioned next to Cook. Even with our dilapidated roster this should be a 10+ point win.


There's been no sign the Jags' coach is getting fired, despite needing to be canned for quite a long time. Not sure who their QB will be either.

Of course, losing the Falcons game made it so that none of these games seem automatic... in a normal year they'd win 4 of 5 games here, but with the defense in shambles and Cousins doing his best Winston impression, who knows. The way the past two games have went, I probably shouldn't rely on the above or below .500 metric that usually dictates if the Vikings will win or not.

And no drafting Christian ponder type prospects in the first round. Before that draft occurred i never saw one scouting report that had him as a first round prospect let alone top 15 pick. He didn’t have any special skills. We can’t ever draft a qb like that again in round one. Need to be smart about it. I agree whole heartedly about having a well drawn out plan on targeting a specific qb and making sure we get him and then having the right coaches in place to develop him and build the offense around his skill set and strengths.

Yes he did, Ponder had the chiseled jawline and manly looks that gets Rick Spielman every time.

I believe that Ryan plays in a very controlled environment and he's well coached, the team is well coached for the most part.

Cousins played in a controlled environment last week and he did well. The offensive line did what they were built to do, run block. Our coaching staff seemed to think that this is a pass first offense, when it's just the opposite. Square peg, round hole if you will. All that said, I'm very interested in seeing if the momentum will be carried over into tomorrow's game. Zimmers squads seem to be notorious for big wins and let downs the following week. If can somehow string together a few wins here, we'll be in the WC discussions for sure.

To your point, RT was a train wreck in Miami, coming to Tennessee and proper coaching literally changed his life.. we seem to be missing the coaching piece.
