I'm actually a big fan of Hackett because he is a very good communicator and has fun while teaching. These are standard trademarks coming from McVay. It seems where ever he has been has had some really good success in their offense. Hell, he led Bortles and Jacksonville to being the #1 offense. The run game seems to really excel under him as well. On top of all that, it takes him away from GB lol.
My guesses for GM, HC, OC, DC, ST
GM: KWESI ADOFO-MENSA - he is young and raw. Is he ready right now? Maybe but it's only a matter when not if. Take him now and build with him. I like his background of analytics and Wall Street.
HC: NATHANIEL HACKETT - GB offensive coordinator. He's been a part of some good offenses where ever he has been. Offers an extremely strong run game performance.
OC: ADAM STENAVICH - Currently the OL coach for GB. I think he would try to bring Getsby but he would get OC under Lafluer, unless he offers him play call duties. Stenavich likely wouldn't call plays and would also assist with building that OL.
DC: JERRY GRAY - GB DB coach who has experience as a DC before. Was also here with the Vikings in 2014-2019 where our secondary was very good.
ST: JOHN FICKEN - current ST coach who I thought did a great job. I'd like to keep him.
While I like Stenavich, I would like a more experienced playcaller as the OC for Hackett to lean-on, too, and I went with Pep Hamilton (former OC and current QB coach in Houston). Pep is an experienced offensive mind that could serve as Asst HC and possibly be an in-house candidate to replace Hackett if things went sour mid-season. Beneath the OC is where I would probably bring in some younger offensive minds to develop into an OC down the line if Hamilton interviews/leaves for a HC job in the future.
Also, I would try to bring in Aaron Kromer to be the OL coach and run-game coordinator; I'm still surprised the Rams let him go (and to their credit, their OL didn't miss a beat); he's a very experienced OL coach who's had success at multiple teams and hopefully could bring our OL to a better level than our recent OL coaches have been able to do.
