Next HC - Who Do You Want?

Well I will start out by saying the new GM and HC will be at a huge disadvantage vs if they would have cut ties in 2019.

The new GM and HC will inherit a roster full of holes no clear cut future and a negative cap before any move is made. They will also inherit a roster of aged vets passed their prime and many new young players that aren't exactly earth movers.

Year one will consist of tearing down to build up. That will mean a ton of bad low budget options. There will be no reason to keep any player on the roster for building blocks because all the money is in the wrong places to build. On D it's at S LB and NT. On O it's at WR TE RB and a terrible option at QB. Year one you turn around the OL and DL and build back. It won't be a good year so you don't worry about QB unless a gem drops right into your lap. QB most likely comes year two. The reason I say this is because there won't be valid options in FA with the cap at hand and you dont want to ruin a new QB with no OL. Year two the OL will be a solid one to build behind you get the QB of the future. Year two you also get the DL solidified. Year 3 you start to add toys and solid starters at positions that you gave up 3 years earlier.

The names I will get to in another post. I will tell you I will be gearing most of my picks with GM and HC that are offensive minded.

2023 will be a proud year to be a Vikings fan.

Roman also made extremely good use of Alex Smith in SF. He tried to do the same with Flacco.

You sound like me. We are cut from the same cloth I agree with this post, and feel the same way. Especially the part about Rick, I have now lost faith. I loved how he stacked draft picks but those moves like you mentioned were terrible.

I feel you bro, I am a little skeptical on Bienemy though. He was never known as a offensive guru. He was even here once. Just been riding Andy Reid, you or I could do that. Andy runs that ship.
