We have his successor in Ezra. Who could use in game experience obvi..... to get better in his rookie year.
And there are teams like Titans, Cowboys, and Eagles who need a LT.....
Ezra isn't going to succeed at LT that is some made up pipe dream. His best value by most insiders valued him at RT at best worst case at G. Many seen him as a bu at best not a starter. This is the issue I had with the pick. If you want a G draft a G that can transition from college to the pros if you want a LT you better get a day 1 starter not a project. Ezra went to Boise to play on the DL and moved to OT. He played vs lesser talents and his weaknesses didn't line up well for success in the NFL. Read up on pre draft analysis. He was a huge boom or bust prospect and many didn't see him as a starter.
Well the Vikings need a LT LG C RG so why not just tank. I mean the GM and HC are more than safe.
It makes sense if you want your QB to get killed and your run game to be worse then it already is. I was told HC and GMs dont tank.
What people need to understand is we have a guy still at GM that couldn't build a solid OL with every draft pick he has had. I have posed this challenge before for Rick supporters. Give me a starting line that could succeed in the NFL using all his picks to date. 1 of each LT LG C RG RT ober Rick's complete time here. He has never come close.
So now people think he can find hof'ers at LT LG C RG in 1 offseason and also cut Cousins and find the next QB and toss in TE and WR which he has way more failures then success.
... and neither is this Chris guy.
