I don't want the Vikings to lose,and I don't agree with all this tanking nonsense.Players step on the field to perform well and win.

That said,I,and some others, have been saying all off season this was going to be a bad year.

A team can't lose so many players and expect rookies and guys with little experience to play at a consistent level to win 12 or 13 games and contend for a title.There are going to be mistakes and growing pains,and the way the roster is constructed a couple of injuries to key players was going to be a dagger.

The high paid top end starters needed to stay healthy all year and play at a high level.Both myself and vikingpitbull used the phrase "one injury away from disaster" because there are too many holes on the roster. I think we're seeing now what some of us said would happen come to fruition.We were labelled pessimists and negative when we were actually realists.

When ownership realizes it's time for a new GM/HC and a complete rebuild then more folks on here might have hope for future seasons,but until then this franchise is going nowhere but downhill.

And here's a little "stat" for all the Spielman lovers. Here is a list of the 5 teams that have not changed GM/Chief decision maker in the past 10 years:

New England – Bill Belichick – SB Champ (2015, 2017, 2019) / AFC Champ (2012, 2018)
Pittsburgh – Kevin Colbert – AFC Champ (2011)
New Orleans – Mickey Loomis – SB Champ (2010)
Minnesota – Rick Spielman
Atlanta – Thomas Dimitroff – NFC Champ (2018)

4 have something in common and 1 is an outlier with nothing to show he deserves to keep his job.

I would say that missing Diggs is not the reason we lost on Sunday. Had Diggs been here instead of Jefferson, we likely still lose. We probably missed Diggs more week one and two... though I suspect after Sunday KC is going to be willing to throw it to the rookie a bit more.

I didn't. When he was in MN, it seemed like every time he made a play, he'd sprint to the nearest camera and jaw into it with his little head bobbing around like a chipmunk on meth. I won't miss seeing that at all.

On your end, it sure looked like Jefferson will be able to replace Diggs' production without the jawing or other drama. Why on Earth would you miss that?

Yes ive watched THREE really good recievers play and never win anything..Yes ive watched a loaded chiefs offense play with generational talent Mahomes and great offensive minded Andy reid, yes I watched Marshall Faulk and a loaded rams offense with HALL OF FAME QB Kurt Warner....No the average at best Minnesota Vikings do not miss Stefon Diggs, with or without him we wont be a contender this year. Hope you understand my statement

Yeah I’m not going to proclaim jj as being the next diggs on the field or that he has now replaced him production wise, but what I saw on Sunday was very encouraging. String a couple more good games together and I would say losing diggs production won’t be a big thing because Thielen and jj should be enough for a good passing game.
