I think dantzler has done a great job of where he was at in the beginning of the year to where he is now. Without a doubt a lot of improvement from him and he looks like he will make at least a solid starter if not better for his career. On the flip side gladney has not played that well and although that can turn around as he is just a rookie, I’m not seeing it. I wasn’t impressed with him as a first round pick and definitely don’t think he has proved my instincts wrong on him this year. At least one of our corner draft picks seems to be on pace to be a decent to good corner for awhile.

Why do you think Ricky Bobby trades down so much? It is a numbers game. The 26 misses will be ignored when you hit the one all Pro out of 27 picks....... not a bad strategy from Ricky Bobby, he certainly knows our fans and ownership very well.............

I'd suggest a different approach:

Why don't they instead post the facts. Rough day for us. Also post quotes from players and coaches who own it and say they will work to fix it.

Stop the purple unicorns and purple rainbows bullsh*t already...... but wait, its the positive thread..... so yay!!!! So exciting to see our guys dancing and happy!!!!!

Record wise, at 6-9 we're now worse than that Football Team from Washington who is 6-8. I mean it's pretty bad when you can't even win the division in the NFC Least. I see that as a positive. It's a matter of perspective.

Now we can't lose 52-33 in the playoffs in front of a national TV audience.

Despite the horrible year in which we barely beat teams like Jacksonville, no one on KFAN has questioned the GM's ability to put a roster together.

That magnificent display of defense yesterday included about 8 guys who should never play another NFL down.

Seriously, maybe it's a positive that so many fans are finally seeing the Wilf era Vikings without purple scales stuck on their eyes. The Viking p.r. department has been undefeated way too long and ownership long ago realized they could serve up purple swill and call it gravy to fans who bought every media p.r. push like it was a black Friday discount appliance.

If you're looking for criticism and constructive thought, KFAN is not the place. Paul Allen is a Vikings employee and isn't going to bash them on the air. Try Skor North instead.

This sports market is 95% dominated by KFAN. KFAN is what it is, because of the Vikings. Any criticism of ownership or the GM could risk their livelihoods.
They know better than to put any risk on that.
Too many Vikings fans believe that we have some supremely talented roster, and it's only via bad calls, injuries, and bad luck that we don't win a Super Bowl every year. Very few Vikings fans have ever said "You know what, we suck because our players suck."

They often are distracted thinking a pro-bowl appearance for a player means they are the best at their position for the next 5 years and that if we have 4-5 players playing from the most recent draft, it's a good thing. Like we're really doing a good job drafting, instead of realizing the depth of talent on the team is so thin, and largely top-heavy that an injury or three turns us into a defense that allows 6 TD's to Alvin Kamara.

What's strange in all of this is the fact that the Wilf's seem to be extra patient with this mess. and that's a reflection on ownership.
