Does Lynn get the boot?

He seems to have it coming with losing so many close games, and there's been plenty of terrible clock management and special teams breakdowns there. I don't know a whole lot about what impact he's had on the team, i. e. if he calls the plays and has helped Herbert develop, so I can't say for sure if he deserves it.

I've always liked the Don Coryell coached Chargers of the late 70s. Some of you are to young to remember but John Jefferson who was drafted in 1978 had 3 1000 yard seasons with San Diego. That was when they only played 14 regular season games. Do those initials JJ ring a bell?

I'm loving the fact the Chargers got a good QB in Herbert. Not a fan of Goff and the Rams.

Wow, Rams lose to the 0-13 Jets in their own building. I don't even have words for that kind of upset. Classic trap game looking ahead to their big division title showdown with the Seahawks next week.

But it momentarily cost the Jets the #1 pick. The Jags now hold that spot because they have a worse strength of schedule tie-breaker (.554 to .593).

I can't believe this! The Jets actually beat a [supposedly] good team in the Rams?! What the heck happened? I swear this Rams team rotates between having great and terrible games on a weekly basis. Who knows what will happen when they make the playoffs - I just doubt they'll be able to string two good games together.

And the Jets! Now they've blown their chance at getting Lawrence! *flush*

The 8 Jaguars fans in existence must be throwing a party, as they can't wait to squander a generational prospect like Lawrence!

Wow, rip my picks. Steelers getting SMASHED. Offensive futility and 3 turnovers, 2 fumbles and one interception with a long return that the Bengals almost immediately capitalized on put in the end zone with an 11 yard run and a 14 yard pass to the RB into the end zone. Game is now 17-0 Bengals!

Yup, classic Steelers. Cincy hasn't looked competitive since losing Burrow, but now they decide to show up? Alright then. Starting the year off 11-0 means nothing if you start playing like crap down the stretch. Can't win in the playoffs that way.

Also, the last two plays:

3rd & 3 - Mack Alexander knocks away a pass, taunts the receiver, gets a personal foul.
Next play on repeated 3rd & 3, Mack Alexander knocks the ball down again. Forces the punt.

Dude's a knucklehead, but he developed into a quality corner.

The Washington Football Team is in contact with the NFL about social media posts showing Dwayne Haskins at a strip club without a mask.
The Football Team is reportedly handling the matter "internally" for now. Haskins could be unavailable for Week 16 against the Panthers if he's considered a close contact of someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Dwayne Haskins is an idiot. This is the same guy who took selfies with fans in the middle of a game, and the same guy who was caught bragging about throwing for over 275 yards despite losing by double digits. You can see why Rivera demoted him to be the 3rd QB almost immediately.

Meanwhile, Taylor Heinicke is slated to start their game next week if Smith is still out...

I remember one game last year were Case was the starter and Dwayne was supposed to be learning. The team was loosing and the camera kept going to the side lines and centering on Dwayne joking around and having a good time. The game commentators, I think it was Aikman, kept bringing up that he should be taking a more active role in trying to learn.

We sure know how to pick em, Haskins and Guice. What a winning combo (roflmao)

It's not just coaches that have to be ready it's the players themselves. There's some truth to "on any given Sunday....Monday.....Thursday or now Saturday" You can get beat by anyone and it's proven year in and year out.

Fans get so caught up on win/loss records, PFF grades, power rankings etc they overlook the fact that teams like the Bengals and Jets show up every game and want to kick your dick in the dirt. Just ask JuJu Smith-Schuster about that.

Carlson's missed XP was the difference! More terrible defensive play from Gruden's Raiders.
