sorry but how has he clearly shown he's not a head coach? He's handled a difficult discipline issue with his star rb. Numerous offensive coaching changes and the death of a coach and probably more qb injuries and changes than any other winning coach during the same period. Clearly not a head coach?

Every time Zimmer's QB got hurt, the next guy was an improvement over the last lol. That's a stroke of good fortune of anything.

But how is Zimmer responsible for the QB play without also being responsible for the offensive side of the ball? If you are going to credit him for our good QB play, then you must also credit him for our typically sh*tty offense.

What 'changes' are you referring to? If it's coaching changes, then that would be squarely on Zimmer for not adequately settling his staff.

Dont you want to be a real contender like GB, SEA, BAL, or KC? Why are you settling for only three playoff appearances, two playoff wins, and two division titles out of 6 seasons? That is not very impressive.

Both the Packers and the Bears have coaches on pace to be more successful coaches then Zimmer.

Zimmer is the HC, not the defensive coordinator. You can't just pick and choose what you give him credit for.

2 playoff wins, 3 playoff appearances out of 6 seasons. 2 of which he lost his starting QB prior to week 2 for the season. He has got the most out of every QB he has ever coached, aside from the "noodle armed QB atrocious QB" who he managed to win 11 with and get to within a chip shot FG away from winning 3 playoff games.

His defenses have been very good to elite, his offenses have struggled every other year, but that is more of an issue with talent, especially on the line and at QB, than it is coaching.

Ultimately who plays on the line and at QB falls on Zimmer's shoulders, but if paired with the right GM who actually knows what he is doing when drafting offense, he could win it all.

I agree. All 3 of those teams are legit title contenders and have been the last few years. I like the Ravens chance this year for a Super bowl

I agree. All 3 of those teams are legit title contenders and have been the last few years. I like the Ravens chance this year for a Super bowl

None have been to the Superbowl lately and a lot of early outs in the playoffs.

Yeah, Zimmer must be a great coach if he won 11 games with a "atrocious" QB starting all 16 games! What other team has been able to win that many games with such "terrible" QB play?

Okay, so you admit that Zimmer is responsible for his offensive play, therefore, your whole handwaving it away and blaming it on the GM (while for some reason, crediting Zimmer for our QB play) is moot. Zimmer is responsible for our entire teams play, including the O and the QB, and while his D's and QB play has been good, his offensive success and total team success is lacking and has resulted in less then impressive results.

Your entire post can be summed up as follows: "Zimmer is responsible for the entire team and you can't pick and choose what to credit him for! Except for all the bad stuff about the team, that is the GM's fault and not Zimmers"
