Carolina's OC Joe Brady is regarded as one of the brightest minds in football and is a future HC candidate... he also had a strong WR corps in Moore, Anderson, and Samuel to throw to. However, he [once again] had a poor O-line and did not get to use McCaffrey, but he looked bad enough for the Panthers to dump him on the Broncos, costing them some cap room. Kinda crazy how a player can command $23M per year on the open market, and then get traded for a 6th (despite his current cap hit of $3M).

Yeah I knew someone would walk right into my obvious Sloter trap, and it didn't take long. Unlike most of you, I don't lack self awareness, or consistency xD. When it seems like I do, it's probably because you haven't been paying attention or I'm setting a trap . Here's the difference, Teddy has gotten chance after chance at the highest level and has never put up an 11/1 TD/INT ratio or a 120 QB rating. Case closed. The jury ain't out on him anymore. You'd think it would be painfully obvious by now, but I'm slowly realizing many of you aren't able to think for yourselves and do in fact need someone to spoon feed you an opinion.

Meanwhile, the last we've seen of Sloter was an 11/1 TD/INT ratio and a 120 QB rating. I know, I know, against people currently working at McDonalds ... which is exactly my point, we didn't get a chance to see what he could do at the next level, against people currently working for Pizza Ranch. Do we see the difference yet? After the 274th time I've explained it over the past 3 years lol?

If it's so easy to put up an 11/1 TD/INT ratio against guys who are currently working at McDonalds, then where are all the other preseason QB's with 120 QB ratings? And why is college football so important when that level of competition is inferior to 4th string preseason rosters? Wow, Lawrence threw 40 TD's against guys who weren't even good enough to play in the 4th preseason game. B-b-but Mel Kiper Jr told me he's pretty good.

I'll spell it out for the slow kids in the back like comet52. Had Sloter gotten his chance at the next level, like everyone admits he earned, including VikingsBoss (before he disagreed with himself), and he failed at that next level, the argument would be over and I'd forget all about him like I'm trying to with Special Ted.

By all means though, continue your obsession with a known below average QB while thinking I'm the one who is out of his mind xD. If Sloter were signed by someone tomorrow and ended up throwing 8 INT's in the preseason, I'd still be right because all I ever said was he earned an opportunity to prove to everyone he sucks. Something Teddy has gotten 4 or 5 times now. Is that too much to ask, to let someone prove he sucks before we kick him to the curb? Nah, it's more important to find someone to hold a clipboard for Cousins.

If Mediocre Mike is making these kind of terrible decisions at QB, where else is he making terrible decisions? I mean besides with the game clock during games? Hmmmm, the empty trophy case is starting to make a lot of sense.

So wait, aren't these the same coaches that everyone trusts with kicking Sloter to the curb lol? I mean lets go down the rabbit hole here. Our OC was Norv Turner when we drafted Teddy. So how did that happen? Think about it for a second, and then ask how it happened. Who hired Norv, and who drafted Teddy, and why weren't they on the same page? And lets throw Peterson into that equation. Your HoF RB who prefers to run out of the I, you give him a QB who prefers to pass out of the shotgun? Norv quit so we can't pin Sloter on him. Oh wait, Norv quit hmmmm. Why did he quit? Another piece of the puzzle perhaps? But yes, lets trust the "experts" running this team because they clearly know what they're doing.

But I'm the weirdo who is obsessed with the QB who had a 120 QB rating when we straight up cut him to make room for Sean Mannion. Yeah, that's the problem. Is my obsession really about Sloter or the disturbing patterns I see with this franchise with the empty trophy case? Those records are sealed.

Ahhh I see what you're trying to do here. Most Vikings fans wouldn't catch your subtle jab, but I realize the Vikings don't have a winning record against Grossman or Orton, so I see right through your insult. I haven't gotten over 4th and 26 yet either. Consider yourself reported.

Haha but no, the Bears had Sloter for a bit too, so I can't let them off the hook. And had you kept him, you wouldn't have needed to spend all that draft capital to get Fields. You might have gotten the next Russell Wilson, but Pace and Nagy (aka Spielman and Childress Jr) are still running the show, so Fields is more likely to end up the next Teddy Ponder-Trubisky instead. Here's what's going to happen though. The Vikings, Bears, and Lions all had a shot at Sloter, and none of them have had a HoF caliber franchise QB in forever, so it stands to reason that Sloter will end up on the Packers at some point and become their 3rd consecutive HoF QB. And just for that reason alone. I know, you know it, and now we all know it because these are just the type of prophecies I deliver. The not so fun kind, but the right kind.
