Yowzers, I actually don't remember that game at all. 11 combined turnovers ... Tomczak and Miller with 3 INT's each, Moon with 2. Robert Smith with his Herschel Walker impression blowing a tire on a long TD run. And haha DE James Harris de-cleating Erric Pegram on that last INT. 1995 Vikings - HC Denny Green, OC Brian Billick, DC Tony Dungy, Warren Moon, Robert Smith, Cris Carter, John Randle, and the Vikings finished 8-8. Sounds about right xD. How'd that team not win a Super Bowl?

I'm looking at the 95 schedule now and I can't say I remember that year at all xD. There were a few years during the 90's that I tuned out completely, but I thought it was earlier 90's. 95 must have been one of them. I do remember 94 and 96 vaguely.

94 was a fun year. The NFL implemented the 2 point conversion and it was the 75th anniversary so a lot of teams wore throwback uniforms, which wasn't as common of a thing to do as it is now. Haha Vikings had 4 OT games in 94 and 95, and won half of them. 5 of them decided by a TD, which is weird considering you only needed a FG back then.

2012? Maybe if you're 7. Ponder with one of his patented sub 100 games. Peterson 31 carries for 154 yards and 2 TD. The Hitman with a 56 yard pick-6. The only team in the modern era that could win games without a QB. I still can't believe how much time and talent we wasted on Ponder.

Like most, I have fond memories of Denny. That said, he had some bizarre things that may have led to these types of results. Rumors of rearranging draft boards the night before a draft. I'll give him credit for Moss. But Underwood also sticks on Denny. Didn't he also have his super secret insider DB coach (Solomon?) that ratted out other assistants who were drifting from loyal? (sorry, my memory is fading...)

Here's the entire game, brought to you entirely by car commercials, and Canada, because apparently America didn't know how to preserve it's own history. Seriously the NFL doesn't even have SB-4 on tape anymore lol. One whole commercial per commercial break, where has that tradition gone? And by entire game I mean it ends after the Vikings finally score in the 3rd quarter to make it 16-7. *spoiler alert* they don't do much after that xD.

I was already sorta following the Vikings and football in 1984, and the first game I ever watched in it's entirety was Super Bowl 19 between the 49ers and Dolphins, but here's the first Vikings game I ever looked forward to and watched in it's entirety. so Vikings!!!! The video doesn't show the final play of the game. Rufus Bess picked off Montana in the EZ on the play after the sack. The Vikings actually had Montana's number in the regular season. Montanta was only 3-3 against us. Averaged only 158 YPG, 65% completions, 9 TD, and 5 INT. And in the playoffs he was 2-1, 49%, 176 YPG, 7 TD and 2 INT.

Oh and spoiler alert, Pete Rose would not break Ty Cobbs record that day. He'd do it 3 days later on September 11th *thumb_up*

Unless you're a normal human being like me and refuse to count the 2 hits they counted twice for Cobb (which puts him at 4189), so Rose actually did break Cobbs record on the 8th, but MLB continues to count Cobbs 2 extra hits for reasons. Hey it's kinda like that time the NFL counted a lateral by Peyton Manning as a forward pass so he could hold onto his single season passing record. *coffee*
