By definition every QB scramble is a broken play. That's why it's called a scramble on the stat sheet and not a run lol. For whatever reason, scrambling yards officially count as rushing yards though, while sack yards go down as passing yards xD. Well sack yards go down as team passing yards, but not individual passing yards. So when you look at the boxscore and see that the Vikings only had 250 passing yards while Cousins had 284, it's because he got sacked 5 times for 34 yards. The entire system is broken.
Thats college football. Sacks don't count against yardage in the NFL.
