Nice video, I talked a little bit about how it wasn't just Burrow making him better but that it was a 2 way street. Here you can see some of the throws he's making crazy adjustments to the ball and bailing Burrow out.
It's a little alarming when every media or internet analyst all seem to love a guy picked in the 20s. I'm a fan of Jefferson and the pick but everything seems too good to be true right now
These guys all have big talent and the order in which they were picked was more about each team's personal preference more than anything else so him falling to #22 isn't a big indictment on his talent. We were just lucky this class also had a lot of 1st round OT's, 3 QB's teams would go after, the Dolphins needed an OT to protect their other pick Tua at #18, the Raiders had already picked Ruggs so they weren't going to go WR at #19, The Eagles picked Reagor at #21 which in my mind was a mistake but like I said, personal preference. It just happened to work out extremely well for us. If the Eagles took Jefferson at #21 I think we would have traded down for the haul NE got but he was the last stud on the board.
I can't speak for everyone, but at least for me, I've felt this way about JJ for a while now before we even knew who was going where and all the hype kicked in. I think what's happening is that now that he's a Viking people who weren't going to study a whole class of WR's are looking at his tape specifically and going whoa! We get it now.
