He was a 5th rounder... I didn't say our passing game won't be as good, but it will certainly be missing a true deep threat like Diggs.

Gotcha. I remember at the time some posters were livid that Ricky supposedly wasted that 2020 5th round pick and you mentioned he'd likely get it back....which he did. We ended up getting Bailey to up his game and Colquitt to be our punter. Marwan Maalouf got what he wanted I suppose...win/win. I think it was that 6th round pick #201 from the Bills (Diggs trade) that Ricky traded to Baltimore for pick 225 and a 2021 fifth round pick.

I'm very curious how Justin Jefferson fits in our offense this season. I keep hearing all this talk about his time playing from the slot. What are you thoughts about this?

Thought it was brockers but he failed his physical so the trade fell through

Jefferson should be stoked having Kubiak, Cousins, Cook, Thielen etc on an offense he plays in........

There was actually a correction - the Ravens sent a 5th they got in the Hayden Hurst trade (which happened later in the day/week) to the Jaguars. It's just that we didn't know about that trade at the time, so we all assumed they traded the Vedvik pick.

The Jags used the Campbell pick on S Daniel Thomas, while the Ravens spent our 5th on DT Washington.

Kubiak picked the guy he wanted,so I think the OC knows who fits his system.I would stop listening to all the noise that says otherwise *thumb_up*

I believe so, at one point I had him #2 in my rankings behind Lamb but ultimately caved into putting Jeudy #2 and JJ #3 with the idea being we wouldn't be able to put him in the slot full time, now I'm not sure that was necessary. I think he'll make us forget about Diggs pretty quickly and as that write up showed, he's going to be a big upgrade in the run game / blocking over Diggs too.

Our offense might not miss a beat without the services of Stefon Diggs despite what most fans have said. There's no disputing Diggs was a huge talent, but we might have a huge talent in Jefferson as well.
