I agree he isn't an A-rod but he's the best backup we've had other than Backup Bridgewater. He could have been coached to be at least as good as Teddy Backupwater, and a hell of a lot more exciting.

I don't know anything about Tua except some people think he's good, so we don't get him. Yer all dreamin.

I would say Cunningham was our best backup but ok knock Teddy he'll have more career wins then Tua will ever have. And unfortunately more playoff wins the Cousins too

Trent Dilfer has come out and said in his 12 years looking at and working with QBs prior to the draft, Tua is the best prospect he has seen.

I didn't even know this was a hot take lol, it's like everyone forgot every bottom feeder in the league was hoping to tank for Tua and getting excited with every loss. The Injury didn't change any of that for me but to each his own.

Yea that definitely erased the great 2nd half he had vs the Giants in the '97 WC game. But looking back the '98 Vikings were a little more lucky then good at times. A lot of 41-31 type of games and almost losing wk2 to the 3-13 Rams. That team could've easily been 12-4 but still feel if we beat ATL we would've beaten Denver. Feel the same way about '09 too, not sure we beat the Ravens in '00 or NE in '17. No that would've been a home SB we might've had that extra gear that night.

Dilfer is a authority on good QBs? He was a first round bust himself no wonder he thinks Tua is the best QB. Put Tua on Texas State and are we talking about him in the same light. I could be wrong but i honestly think he was a product of the system at Alabama and his struggles in big games showed he might be a little over rated. Not saying he's horrible but think he isn't as good as his hype.
