And 3rd round picks spent on interior linemen aren't some sort of flyer whose failure you dismiss with the shrug of your shoulders as if they're some sort of long shot to contribute. Elf was taken just 6 picks after the 2nd round, and smart organizations generally don't need to burn 1sts and high 2nds on average interior linemen, let alone fringe starters or backups.
