LT Riley Reiff - The Vikings looked around to trade him during training camp, but found no takers. However, O-linemen have been falling like flies due to injuries and Reiff has started the season on a great note. He's now under a more affordable contract after taking a pay cut and that makes him easier to trade. They likely won't be able to afford him in 2021.

DE Yannick Ngakoue - I doubt they will dangle him out there to trade, but they could get back a 3rd rounder for him after he's recorded 5 sacks in 5 games. Methinks they will try to extend him, but moving on from him now if the return is good enough is certainly an option.

SS Anthony Harris - They tried to trade him earlier but Harris' asking price on a new deal was too high. Now he's stuck on a one year deal and is in all certainty going to hit FA in 2021. He's not playing super well, but they'd get something for him.

I don't see any other obvious trade chips. If I had to guess, I could see Harris going and that's it.

Reiff is not a great player, and I'd like him moved, but we have to consider how bad that position was before Reiff arrived. I mean, it could be worse.

It is funny that the Vikings wanted to move him, but his contract was too large for other teams for his production, and the Vikings took him back because they don't have anyone ready to take his place. If the Vikings wanted to replace Reiff this year, they should have drafted his replacement last season - not this year.

It's not that they all stink - Reiff is solid, Bradbury is no longer a liability, and O'Neill is good - but there just didn't seem to be a plan for the guard position. Just compare tackle to guard: Reiff, O'Neill, Hill, Cleveland, Udoh, Brandel vs Dozier, Elflein, and Samia. I don't get why they've only went after tackle prospects when the guard position has been in a dire situation.
