Teddy B vs Case "Buc Slayer" Keenum vs Sammy B

Well, he did lead the league in completion percentage in passes over 20 yards. so obviously he can do it, But speaking for last season only, we had no running game or OL which meant he saw 7 men in coverage almost all the time, which is the complete opposite of what Teddy faced with AP in the backfield he saw 7 in the box and his YPA was a whopping 7.2 INCHES more than what Sam had  so I think your Captain Checkdown is misplaced on the wrong guy. Especially if you watch the first game Sam played as a Viking, his 2 TD passes were artistic and in a place where only his receivers could make the catch, Teddy wouldn't have even attempted those throws because he cant make them.

He also threw the least amount of passes downfield and has had the lowest average depth of target across the league twice.

Regarding Bradford having his most accurate season of his career last year, this is what I don't get. Teddy ALSO had a pretty decent completion percentage ... he was criticized/mocked for it. lol. Um? Bradford and Bridgewater had EERILY similar numbers in '14 and '15, but Bradford should have been SO much better, right? Because he's a franchise QB? Had more experience? Was drafted #1 overall? Okay...? Nope! Franchise QBs don't get tossed around like Bradford did. Sorry. That's just not the reality. But here's my thing ... if Bradford can improve since '14 and '15 ... why can't Bridgewater? That's my question. They are more alike than they are different in terms of numbers. But the Bradford crowd is all determined to give up on Bridgewater. You DO realize that by your own standards, you would have never wanted Bradford here in the first place? Because, well ... he was no better than sophomore year Bridgewater. I just think some people think the grass is always greener. It feels like there are a lot of double standards in place with this debate. Me, personally ... I like both. Of course I like Teddy more, because he's my guy. I also think, if healthy, he has more upside than Bradford. Bradford is solid, but he is what he is at this point. Teddy ... ? Who knows? He's at Bradford's level right now in a lot of ways overall: average to above average. Who knows what he might look like in 3 or 4 years from now? Again, if healthy ... that excites me a lot more than Bradford 3 years from now. Just sayin'.

Ideally, we'd have both of them on the roster, but I don't think that's the reality for much longer. With that said, neither one deserve a huge, long-term deal. It's a tricky situation, but all this Bradford is so much better than Bridgewater chatter is, just, well ... wrong, especially when discussing some outrageous extension. The little that he is better, well, he kind of should be. Right? Why are people so excited? Because he's not Bridgewater? I don't get it. I truly don't. 

The same people that put Teddy on this special pedestal are also the same people that that said Ponder and TJ sucked and they did pretty much the exact same thing as Teddy did. Hand the ball off to AP, and some how Teddy gets credit for "leading" the team to the playoffs ?  And with the 31st ranked passing offense to boot.
