Anyway, are you suggesting that it's totally acceptable for all athletes to act like Diggs recently has when things don't go their way? Or do you think there is probably a more mature, professional way?

Also, just in general, I have zero clue why people EVER chose a player over the team, especially when said player gave up on his team and demanded to be traded. It doesn't make any sense to me. Hate on Spielman, Zimmer, the Wilfs, etc. if you want to, but to use Diggs and his b*tch baby ways as some sort of validation for those feelings is, well, laughable.

Like telling them he wants out without public knowing in the off-season?

Diggs' behavior has been well-documented on this board. Lots of tids from the media, former players who are still close to the locker room, people with inside info, fan speculation, etc... 

As far as Diggs/to Diggs:

Just recently, again, own up as a man and admit that you wanted out. Don't try to save face and pretend you are surprised by the move. He wasn't ready for the news? Okay, lol, so then why, hours before, did you post on social media that a move would be made?

And the reports have said that the Vikings did NOT have any intention of trading him, until he made that post, again causing drama and drawing attention to himself ... and teams started to call again. He forced his way out with his behavior. That much is painfully obvious. It is what it is. But, yeah, own up to it. Let's not play all innocent and shocked. But yeah, that would be asking too much. 

I can't think of a worse fit for NE than Cam.

It was still perceived by many that he was giving up on his team. Ya know, a guy who is paid A LOT OF MONEY, and is expected to be there putting in the work just like everyone else to get things back on track. But instead, he decided his fragile feelings and "me attitude" were more important than showing up to work. As a manager, of a group of 11, I hate when people think of lame excuses to not come to work, too. If it's legitimate, sure. If it's someone just being selfish and not thinking about their team? Yeah, that's disrespectful and immature. It's true in the real world as well as the sports world.
