How ya doing Mr. Delusional?
I wouldn't get the cart ahead of the horse. In the NFL one season doesn't maketh the clearest of paths for the future.
I can point to many players that looked terrible in their rookie years and even sophomore years that became legends mvps and superbowl stars or one of the best in their position. I can also point to many that looked unstoppable as a rookie to never be heard of again and many that where never consistent year to year.
Guys like Wes Welker Cris Carter Sidney Rice Reggie Wayne Roddy White Eddie Royal Percy Harvin Patrick Jeffers Michael Clayton Davante Adams Steve Smith Adam Thielen Stefon Diggs to name just a few that fit each category.
I would probably wait a few more years to get too cocky either way. Nice start long way to go to crow.
This is about whether he can catch 70 balls this year. Thanks for the history lesson though.
He could or he couldn't. Has he? If no then I would probably wait until he does. If he does and the team goes nowhere who cares... This fan base is more about personal player performance then actually being something relevant. It's like we became the Bengals Browns or Lions. Our SB is moral victories for some. I would rather have no names win a SB then a sprinkle of players impress with FF stats but that's just me.
