Very interesting. The Vikings are up against the cap, Udoh has talent at RT and Reiff is now a candidate for a restructure. I'd still like to see O'Neill at LT, Udoh at RT, and Reiff at Left Guard. If Reiff would struggle like Remmers did in 2018, then that is not a good call. Maybe Reiff is a casualty because they don't want to lose some of the promising draft picks.
Maybe they are putting Cleveland at LG because they see O'Neill and Udoh as the future tackles? Can Cleveland take over for Dozier at mid-season as he gets more reps at Guard? What about Samia at RG for Elflein if he struggles?
And if we are really dreaming, maybe this strong, athletic guy Kyle Hinton can develop quickly as a Guard and be better than either Elflein or Samia.
When you don't invest much in your Guards, your team often struggles. The Vikings were fortunate with Berger and Easton in 2017. Since then, it has been a weakness. Will that weakness be lessened if Bradbury is better in pass protection? I hope so.
