You should read that other story more clearly. Things escalated each time when Zimmer reigned the offense towards running rather than passing. Kirk was the guy he blew off steam on. Don't mistake that as the person he was really mad at. I hope I don't have to explain that rather simple human behavior.

Plus, I don't see any glowing olive branches towards one M. Zimmer in that most recent piece.

The one and only thing we are able to glean from this article is that Diggs is not the me, me, me guy people believed he was the instant he was no longer a Viking.

Moss, TO and certainly not AB would ever write something like this.

Trying to decipher a meaning for his departure from what he wrote is a fool's errand. Everything he wrote was positive and clearly he did not want to be traded because he "loved being in MN". He obviously left out all of the negative, which could, and probably does include negative feelings about the QB.

The timing of his tweets about wanting out coinciding exactly with the QB getting an extension is not just coincidence. You would have to be willfully ignorant to believe it was. If he truly did love playing with Cousins, he would still be a Viking. To believe otherwise you would again have to be willfully ignorant.

FFS. Read the previous articles detailing his exit.

I can't find the article on his exit and how the DeFilippo stuff happened and other issues. The recurring issues all center on Zimmer. Him going out of his way to love on Kirk as he leaves while not mentioning the head coach he was under the entire time is yet another bit of evidence in that corner.

I've said all along it was about Zimmer not Kirk. Diggs praised Kirk more than once during the season in interviews. Never heard him praise Zimmer and I always felt when Zimmer talked about Diggs during pressers his body language was that of an annoyed guy. He's not good at hiding things frankly. Zimmer's grouchy old man bit is stale and I think some of the players see it that way too.

I don't put much faith in what players write after they've left the team. The stupid ones sling crap. The smart ones realize that they will be negotiating a new contract in a few years and don't want anything negative on their resume. Diggs is smart enough to realize this. AB, not so much..... Also, with Hopkins supposedly demanding more money before his trade to the Cardinals, I wouldn't be too surprised if Diggs jumps on that bandwagon before long.

Allen can get better at throwing the deep ball, and probably will with Diggs as a receiver. Cousins' struggled with deep ball accuracy up until he came to the Vikings and it wasn't really a strength of his until last season.
