I never said you blamed the refs for EVERY loss, but you certainly have a habit of claiming we got jobbed, or that refs hate the Vikings, certainly in ever game thread I have participated in.

Its not hard to tell that you claim teams you don't like get referential treatment, while the teams you do like get jobbed, this is just the reality if the situation. You have every right to make your silly claims, just as I have every right to chide you for said silly claims.

But, just try to keep in mind, that your delusions are par for the course for all 32 fan bases week in, week out. Would you hesitate to give a delusional Packers fan a dose of reality if he was b*tching and moaning about how much the refs hate the Packers? I wouldn't, only I'll do the same to delusional Vikings fans. I guess some people just need defense mechanisms and rationalization to enjoy the game.

what you don't like about my viewing habits is no concern of mine. :) I have a lot of interests besides football, and some of them-like my health-are actually more important.

The Vikings can be on the wrong side of bad calls without the refs hating the Vikings.  I thought the calls made today, and the calls not made today, were very much in the detriment of the Vikings.  I found irony in the Vikings being called for offensive interference while the receiver was trying to run the route, but the Dolphins ran picks on play after play with no flags being thrown.  When Moose says, "The receivers were in the same area on the touchdown," and the replay clearly shows the up receiver picking the linebacker trying to cover the intended target, I have to say that not seeing a little yellow flag hit the turf is upsetting.

When a Dolphins lineman grabs a linebacker from behind, wraps him up, and does not allow him to get to the hole on a rushing TD, that is upsetting too. 

Of course, the two out of bounds calls went against the Vikings on both of those plays as well.  If they had both been touchdowns or both out of bounds, it would have been better.  Yes, the Vikings still could have scored after the Ford catch, and the team played rather poorly on both offense and defense late in the game, but bad calls can lose close games.  There is no doubt.

I mean...I'm not lying. The numbers are as I reported them. DVOA is derived from the numbers, it's not as if they subjectively ranked the various teams. Our kick and punt coverage units have been outstanding, punting by Locke and kick returning have been slightly below average. Teams consistently have started us with good field position by squibbing it to avoid Patterson, which has subsequently hurt our overall kick off return average The only thing that's been poor has been the FG/XP units. Punt return is top 10. Haven't allowed a TD return on kicks or punts, long punt return allowed is 16 yards. Scored two touchdowns on blocked punts. Top five in the NFL in touchback % on kickoffs. Executed a successful fake punt for a big gain and our only real offense in Chicago. 

There's more to special teams than kicking field goals. Obviously they struggled on ST today, mainly the bad snap by Loeffler (were there any other issues? I thought Locke punted well for once). So our ST DVOA may drop a bit after this game, but I don't think there's any denying that our special teams as a whole have been strong this year.
